SHORT BIO
I am a Classical archaeologist and numismatist with a strong academic record and several skills in teaching, coin cataloging, archival research and 3-year experience in commercial archaeology (field work in Adria, Bagnolo S. Vito, Calvatone, Casale sul Sile, Lurano, Milan, Nora, Palmyra and Tindari).
My main fields of research are Sicilian archaeology (cultural heritage, antiquarianism, collecting and excavations, history of the discipline) and Greek, Roman and Modern numismatics, including coin finds and hoards.
I am currently Assistant Professor of Cultural Studies and Humanities at Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (Saudi Arabia).
